How we handle
your data.
Last updated: 27 April 2026
The short version
Ddraig Dev does not run analytics, does not set tracking cookies, does not embed third-party scripts that profile you, and does not have a newsletter to subscribe you to. The only personal data we ever process is what you actively send us through the contact form or by email.
Who we are
Ddraig Dev is an independent software studio based in Wales, United Kingdom. The data controller is Jay Parry. Contact: hello@ddraig.dev.
What we collect, and why
If you fill in the contact form on this site, you give us:
- Your name, so we know who we are talking to
- Your email address, so we can reply
- An optional subject
- The message you wrote
We process this data on the lawful basis of legitimate interest (responding to a request you sent us). The data is used solely to read your message and reply to it.
Who else sees it
The form submission is delivered to our inbox via Resend, an email delivery provider acting as our data processor. Resend is GDPR-compliant and uses sub-processors as documented in their privacy policy. The message is also stored in our email account so we can reply.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept in the inbox until the conversation is resolved, plus a reasonable period after that for context (typically 12 months). After that they are deleted. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies. The contact form rejects submissions from other websites and limits submission attempts to prevent spam. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train models. We do not put you on a marketing list. The contact form is a contact form, not a lead capture form.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@ddraig.dev. We aim to respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which provides caching and DDoS protection. Cloudflare processes request logs for security and operational purposes. Contact-form limits use a pseudonymous IP identifier for ten minutes; your message content is not stored there.
Changes
If we materially change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date above. There is no history worth keeping for a one-page policy on a small studio site.
